If we take the time to be realistic, and ask ourselves, “What do I really want out of life?” we may discover the secret to our own happiness; the answer to our own happiness lies in the answer to that question.

Be True to Yourself

There is nothing wrong with pursuing our personal dreams and desires, as long as they are morally and ethically sound. Being true to yourself means responding to your own inner voice or inner child, and granting yourself daily wishes. A ride on a merry-go-round or learning something new are both ways to cultivate happiness while answering the inner call to pursue hidden dreams.

Enjoy Every Moment

Being present in the moment means being aware, appreciative, and accepting. This is how we make a life for ourselves. There are people, and animals, too, showing their love, gratitude, and concern right there in front of us. Are we enjoying them? Are we embracing and cherishing each moment that unfolds – whether that moment is good, bad, or indifferent? If not, chances are we are living our lives on autopilot.

Making a Life

Making a life that is worth enjoying and living is not rooted in tangible things, but in intangible things. The people we meet, know, and love are great assets to our existence. Are we enjoying them as much as we can? Are we spending time creating memories with friends and family members?

Acceptance and Gratitude Lead to Joy

Living in the here and now means doing so with a dose of acceptance. It means we tell the Universe, “I appreciate who I am, what I have and what will come.” This attitude leads to both self-acceptance and gratitude. Then, we can find a place of joy unimaginable.

Having a happy life is not really hard to achieve. There are family and friends close by. There are museums and parks and local events filled with activities to occupy the time of any person. Take a chance, move outside your comfort zone, and live a happy, joyous, carefree life that is built on pleasant memories.

Just think:

What difference would it make in your life if you had an absolutely unshakable confidence in your ability to achieve anything you really put your mind to?

What would you want and wish and hope for?

What would you dare to dream if you believed in yourself with such deep conviction that you had no fears of failure whatsoever?

How To Believe In Yourself

Most people start off with little or low self-confidence, but as a result of their own efforts, they become bold and brave and outgoing. And we’ve discovered that if you do the same things that other self-confident men and women do, you, too, will experience the same feelings and get the same results.

The key is to be true to yourself, to be true to the very best that is in you, and to live your life consistent with your highest values and aspirations. This is the only way to truly learn how to believe in yourself.

Take some time to think about who you are and what you believe in and what is important to you.

If you want to change your life by becoming an author, believe that you can do it. The hardest step in that journey is finding the confidence to learn how to write a book. Once you get a hold of a proven system to plan, produce, and publish your work, the larger goal becomes easier to attain.

By believing in yourself, you will find the courage to take immediate action on your goals. And this, as you may know, is the key to success!

I encourage you to never compromise your integrity by trying to be or say or feel something that is not true for you.

And – more importantly – never compromise your potential to grow due to self-limiting doubts. Instead, embrace your confidence and believe in yourself because you really can do anything you put your mind to.

Tell Yourself You Have Confidence And Believe It

Repeat affirmations such as “I believe in myself” every day.

Your thoughts become words and your words become your actions. If you continue to tell yourself that you believe in yourself, eventually you really will believe in yourself.

It’s that simple.

Have the courage to accept yourself as you really are—not as you might be, or as someone else thinks you should be—and know that, taking everything into consideration, you are a pretty good person.

After all, we all have our own talents, skills, and abilities that make us extraordinary.

No one, including yourself, has any idea of your capabilities or of what you might ultimately do or become. Perhaps the hardest thing to do in life is to accept how extraordinary you really can be, believe in yourself, and then to incorporate this awareness into your attitude and personality.

We Have Coordinated 2,000 Contracts!

We‘ve reached another HUGE milestone here at Virtual Business Solutions Real Estate! 

The company as a whole has coordinated 2,000 contracts as of this month!

Transaction coordinating started as a service that only our CEO Tiffany did, while our COO Tristan did the listings. As of 2019, we have evolved to a staff of sixteen, 5 of whom are transaction coordinators. In 2016 we created a transaction coordinator manager position to complete audits,  increase oversight and to have ongoing and available mentorship. In May of 2019, we hit 2,000 contracts closed.

The success we have achieved is due to an outstanding all-encompassing package:

  • Robust & Thorough: Sending all contact information to all parties no matter whose side we support. Proactive measures, asking for items before they’re late, checking in with all parties before issues are brought to us in the final hour. Handling the clients system of record - Dotloop, Skyslope, Reesio - we know them all! Sending the extra touches to the client (utility transfer, walk through of home warranty process).

  • Marketing Included: We ensure everything you need to maximize from your transaction is included. Request reviews, social media posts after closing and designing your Just Sold postcard.

  • Brand Ambassador: Our coordinators work out of assistant accounts to appear in-house with the agent. Many agents that call me have worked with our team on the other side of transaction and never knew. Our intention is to strengthen our clients brand and not our own.

Our team goes above and beyond to please each client. Their ambition to over-deliver, coupled with a robust and proactive system, all packaged at a price an independent agent can pay or a broker can absorb for his team, has positioned us as leaders in this niche industry.

We are telling the stories of the top 500 real estate agents within North Dallas Fort Worth. In just North DFW alone, there are ~20,000 real estate agents. Yes, that is right. 20,000. Of that, the top 500 agents are doing over 80% of all the business. These are the agents who make the market what it is. They take this job seriously and they are doing it at an extremely high level. We have a tremendous amount of respect for these agents. If you heard real estate was easy, you heard from an ill-advised source. Just ask one of our agents - they will set you straight!

The mission of Real Producers is simple. We strive to inform and inspire the top producing real estate agents in the local market and connect them socially. The secondary focus is to provide an avenue for our affiliate partners to create relationships with these top performers on a level that they might not be able to achieve on their own.

I had the pleasure of hosting a Goal Planning Class back in December with a great group of agents! This Goal Planning course is an interactive goal planning blueprint session that keeps you aligned with your highest and best self in life AND business!

We work through to discover your true WHY for what you are doing, we define your vision to help you better create a goal plan and be able to implement a system that actually works for you. We share tips on how to remove obstacles, incorporate small tasks into your every day in order to reach those long term goals and help you learn how to set yourself up for success!

Motivation Monday: Love Your Business and It Will Love You Back

It's Time to Fall in Love With Your Business Again

Sometimes, in business, we lose ourselves to the hum of working day after day. It can be hard to get excited when, what should be the joy of operating your business gets turned into just another day at the office. Whether your numbers are up or down, your business is going through growing pains or feeling the sting of an economy that still hasn’t bounced back, it’s important to hold on to the things that influenced your career choice. Why do you do what you do? 

Spark the romance again.

A relationship with your work can be described as rocky at best. There are so many peaks and valleys that we encounter that it can be emotionally draining. However, to be not only successful, but also be fulfilled in the work we do, it is important that we keep the romance going. Remember how it felt the first time you made that paycheck for doing something you’re passionate about? Or what about the butterflies you felt when approaching your first clients?

Seeing how far you’ve come can be a remarkable feeling. Some things have become easier, more fluid while others still seem to get you tripped up. Maybe you’re still not the best at handling criticism or perhaps paying company bills still makes you sweat at the end of the month. It sounds cheesy, but focusing on the positives in your life can be big step towards getting yourself out of a rut.

An attitude of gratitude.

How grateful are you for your job? Whether you own your own business or work for someone else, we can forget to be thankful for what and who we have around us. Even when I don’t feel like I am in the most “giving” mood, I try to say thank you to the people around me who work to make my life easier. I have come to find that the more I say “thank you,” the more I mean it. Those people who receive a thank you are likely to pay it forward to their co-workers and the other people in their lives who may need a pat on the back.

I would challenge you to wake up in the morning with a mindset that says, “Today, I will be grateful.” Believe it or not, this is a choice that you can make. Only you can dictate how you spend your day. And why would you want to waste it feeling unsatisfied and frustrated? Talk about a poor use of energy.

Anchor yourself.

Sure, life (whether in or out of business) can get a bit crazy both in a good or bad way. But, making sure that your heart it anchored to the right things is the only way you can survive the storms that life may throw at you. What matters to you most? Who matters to you? Keep these things and especially these people close to you. Because, no matter how far off course you feel like you’ve gotten over the years, you will always have them to pull you back in and set you back to right.

You can’t be everything to everyone that you’re trying to touch, and you have to have some type of an umbrella that takes that burden off of you because you’re realtors trying to run a business, not email marketers. You’re not social media gurus. You’re realtors with valuable time, and you need to be concentrating on other aspects of your real estate business.

E-Newsletters give businesses the opportunity to regularly communicate with customers and leads who have expressed interest in their company, making them a very warm audience. So what are the benefits of E-newsletters?

  1. Email is a Preferred Method of Communication. Today, email is one of the most popular forms of communication. By sending marketing materials to an email address, you ensure that you deliver your communications to a platform where your audience is nearly guaranteed to be spending time. In fact, 93 percent of internet users have indicated that they'd rather receive brand information in their email inbox versus their social media feed. So, by using email newsletters, you're ensuring that you're reaching people where they actually want to be reached online.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tristan Skiles and Tiffany Haynes.

Tristan and Tiffany, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We, Tristan Skiles and Tiffany Haynes, are the founders of Beyond Routine, LLC. We run a very successful Real Estate Virtual Assistant Company. The Virtual Assistant company started with one person and has grown to into a full staff, supporting entire real estate teams and brokerages.

Finding a planner that encompassed everything we were responsible for was daunting. Most of the time we found ourselves customizing the planners that we used, as they were designed more for the general busy professional. The planners did not assist with all the different departments you have to manage when running a company. We didn’t have a place to track expenses or to track marketing performances to ensure we didn’t throw money down the drain. The planners didn’t help reverse engineer our long term goals to ensure that our weekly and monthly goals were in alignment. The planners task lists didn’t separate the must do’s of the day with a separate section for the less important.

So, the idea was dreamed up to to design our very own planner and Beyond Routine was born!

We are actively immersed in the Real Estate Industry on a daily basis. There is not an agent that we come in contact with where advice is not given!

Together, we help agents construct their financial goals for the year and discuss how that transcribes to the things you need do every day to ensure you reach those goals. We teach agents that you cannot just focus on buying and selling real estate if you want to be in this for the long haul. You have to think of your business like a company, reviewing every subset of your business and ensuring those tasks are on your radar or strategically delegated to an expert in that field.

The successful Virtual Assistant company, VBS Real Estate is now referral only, we only take clients that are referred by active clients to ensure their quality and reputation is always at a manageable rate. It was without a second thought that we designed a planner just for Real Estate professionals to ensure agents had complete control over their career and lives. It is the objective that the agent was left to begin with the end in mind and had a guide to take with them as they served families but kept their business and well-being a top priority as well.

During the process of designing the Real Estate Edition Planner, we were approached by several entrepreneurs, small business professionals, friends and family who desired the same goal planning and strategy pages that the Real Estate Edition planner had to offer. Being that we were busy professionals ourselves we knew that this was a need that we could meet. Thus, the Entrepreneur Edition was created to help busy professionals and entrepreneurs, like ourselves, manage their daily tasks, strategize, dream and plan.

To say this is a labor of love is an understatement! Hours of planning, designing, strategizing, gathering market research and simply putting ourselves in the seat of the entrepreneur were all done to get this right and to make sure it encompassed everything needed.

To live Beyond Routine is an invitation that we worked hard to be able to offer our customers. We hope that each customer accepts this invitation! If you do, we are committed for a lifetime to evolve year after year with you. Taking in your feedback and providing the most efficient and innovative planner they have ever used!

Has it been a smooth road?
As with any first year of business, there have been some hiccups along the way. We went into this with confidence, a budget and high expectations. Each of which was a bit shaken at one time or another.

Because this was our first year and we were so excited to offer this product to agents, we decided to offer pre-sales of our planners. We had discussed with our printer the turn-around time for production and shipping and were confident that all items would be in stock in time. However, as with any shipment of this nature, delays are common and we had just about every delay possible hit us. This was so frustrating for our customers as-well-as for us! We made a decision not to do pre-sales again and to make sure we are ordering early enough to have all product on hand by the time the customer places their order.

Another thing, we really didn’t know about was the expense of shipping cargo by sea and all of the freight, transportation, loading and miscellaneous other charges that incur. These add up quickly and was something we did not expect.

Lastly, once we received our inventory and began shipping planners out to customers we learned of some printing errors that had taken place. These are common and do happen in mass production in low volumes. However, for us, this was unacceptable and did not meet our standards of the quality that we expected in our product and wanted our customers to receive. We made it a point to make sure that moving forward our high expectations are met and that inventory control is a high priority.

Each of the above instances shook our confidence at one time or another. However, our love of this product and the feedback, compliments and high demand from so many amazing customers have just confirmed what we knew when we began this journey.
