What is the ‘10-touch close’ campaign?

How much is your client worth to you? Would you invest $30/year to stay at the top of their mind? There is a lot of competition in this industry. That means that you have to make sure that your clients know that you are their realtor for life, even after the transaction has closed. Although receiving an email or call now and then is nice, there is something wonderful about holding something in your hand. Sending a physical card is a way to let your client know that they are still worth your time and that you are still available should they, or someone they know, need real estate assistance.

We have created a “10 Touch Close Campaign” using a great program called Send Out Cards! This campaign will send 10 physical cards out to your clients (buyer or seller) within the first year of their closing!

We have already implemented this for some of our clients and have gotten amazing feedback.  We are excited to announce that it is now a packaged service.

What is the benefit for a realtor?

Build and sustain relationships with your contacts, clients and referral partners all on an automated system that you don’t have to check on, or personally take time out of your day to sit down and physically write a card. Whether you are thanking someone for their business, telling someone you’re thinking of them, or sending holiday cards, there are endless opportunities to tangibly reach out and keep your services at the top of mind of your clients. When you send kindness out to people, they will remember you. Who do you think your clients will think of first when they have an opportunity to provide a realtor referral? YOU. The art of cards and thank you notes is what makes appreciation marketing work so well. This is what builds strong relationships. This in turn creates repeat business and referrals because they know, like and trust you!

What's Included in the Service?

We will set up your account with Send Out Cards and link your credit card.

We will set up the card/gift campaigns for you.

Once your campaigns are set up, all you have to do is add the buyer or seller's information to your account as your closings happen and select the buyer or seller campaign we already set up for you, and voila ... they will get 10 cards from you throughout the year! (VBS is happy to provide this as part of our Transaction Coordinating checklist if we already work your contracts for you.)

As an added bonus: We will add a Referral Card to your account, customized with your logo, so that as people refer you, you can send them a card immediately thanking them for referring you to their friends/family.

What's the Cost?

The service for SendOut Cards is $17/month.

VBS charges a one-time setup fee of $175. This setup fee includes the set up of your account, campaigns, referral card, and the upload of your current client database.

The cost for a card is $2.75 each. The cost for a closing gift varies and can be selected to be within your budget. Choose the same gift each time or choose from different options. (That's just under $30/year, not including your gift, to stay in touch with your client.)

Additional charges may apply if you need your current database edited!
